Every Refaire Archive bridal piece is hand beaded by Noa Omane — one bead at a time, over the course of at least two and a half months. There is no machine embroidery, no applied panels, no outsourced labor. What you receive is a garment that holds the hours it took to make.
The work is built around inheritance. If your mother, your grandmother, or someone you love has given you their dress, it can be beaded rather than replaced — kept whole, made yours. Ready-to-wear gowns, veils, and garters are also available for those starting fresh.

Hand-beaded corset & skirt set
A 1950s corset encased in glass beads — white, blue, green, iridescent silver — scattered like light through water, with a rhinestone pear brooch at the center. The skirt is a vintage Oscar de la Renta wedding underskirt, beaded to match: a garment once meant to disappear, finally allowed to be seen. Three and a half months of handwork. One of one.

Veils
A small run of hand-beaded veils is kept available to purchase directly — bordered, scattered, or fully worked, in lengths from fingertip to cathedral. Because each is beaded by hand, what exists changes. Send an inquiry to see the current pieces.

Your own wedding dress — inherited, vintage, or already purchased — hand beaded to your design. You specify the bead colors you want and Noa builds the pattern around the garment's existing lines. The dress stays the dress. It simply becomes yours.

Gowns Noa has sourced and beaded on her own — one of one, never repeated. Because these are finished garments rather than made-to-measure, every ready-to-wear dress requires a fitting before it is released.

Send your own veil to be beaded — a border, a scattering, a full cathedral length — or purchase one already finished. Veils carry beadwork beautifully and are the most common entry point for brides who want the work without altering the dress.

The process
How it works
Nothing is left to chance and nothing is a surprise. You see the pattern before it exists in glass, and you see the work twice while it is being made.

Inquiry
Send the form below with your wedding date, what you'd like beaded, and the bead colors you have in mind — gold, silver, pearl, iridescent, clear, or something specific you've seen. If the garment is already in your hands, photographs help. Noa responds within 48 hours.

Sketch and approval
Before any beading begins, Noa sends a sketch of the proposed bead pattern for your approval. Nothing is stitched until you have said yes to the drawing.

Two progress images
During the beading, you receive two update images at agreed points in the work — confirmation that what is emerging is what you asked for, with room to adjust while adjusting is still possible.

Finishing and return
The finished piece is photographed, insured, and returned to you well ahead of the date. Ready-to-wear gowns are fitted before release.

Good to know
- Timeline
- A single piece takes a minimum of two and a half months of continuous beading. Please inquire at least four months before your date — six is better for a full gown. Rush work is not offered, because the work cannot be rushed.
- Heirloom garments
- Beadwork adds real weight. Before accepting an inherited dress, Noa assesses the fabric and seams to confirm the garment can carry it — very fragile silk or aged tulle may need reinforcement, or may be better suited to a veil or a beaded panel than a full treatment. This is discussed openly before anything is committed.
- Shipping
- Garments travel insured in both directions, with tracking. Shipping and insurance are quoted at the time of booking.
- Booking
- A deposit reserves your place in the calendar and covers materials; the balance is due before the finished piece ships. No payment is taken until every detail has been confirmed together.
- Care
- Hand-beaded garments are never machine washed. Care instructions specific to your piece are included on return, along with a note on long-term storage.
